Right...how does WTB prove there is a mini? It only proves that people want to buy it if there is one. Don't post screenshots unless it is a screenshot of the actual mini please. ty

Has anyone thought that, seeing as no one has seen these new minis (urgoz/monolith), that people are just doing this to push up the price of unopened gifts?

why? stumme said there's mini's in it that never have been in bday pressies, so it could be true, and even if those arent, there's something "new", so prices go up anyway

i could be that people do that, but there will be some (or just one) which never have been seen from from these pressies, so prices dont go up that much.... unless most people didnt read that o_O

Well, I remember myself with few buddies spamming "WTB BBoH, 100e" and having bidding war (110e, 115e... 125e and willing to negotiate price... ) and if anyone asked what BBoH was, we'd call him a noob or that someone who had one would know...

New minis introduced this year are likely visible in the .DAT file.

I don't know how to explore .DAT content, but it should be fairly easy to check.

I know I know! I hated it. Finished my drunk title maybe several months before they made it ridiculously easier. And don't forget survivor! Holy hell.

its fake i waited him out he wouldn't show or anything and he boasted on how it was new i waited with trade window he logged several minutes later

EDIT: same guy msg'd admitting there was no kanaxai, plenty of people playing on the hype lol he saw his name on here

Here is how I see it:
-JS literally wrote that there are other than past years' purp/gold/green minis in these gifts
-JS also said they are rare
-no data has been dug out by .dat miners, which leads to an assumption there may actually be asian minis in these gifts
-if the above one is true; aNet woldn't want to flood the market with newborn asian minis; which leads to another assumption: they are REALLY rare. Even if there would be ONE asian mini popping out of these gifts per month it would be a huge ammount

True, but at the current rate of people seeing the WTS/WTB and the pics etc, I'm under the impression even if we DID get a legit screen or whatnot, no one would believe it anyway. There could be a few "new" minis, the rare ones, that people HAVE gotten from bday gifts, just no one believes them. Just my thoughts on that.

The GW.dat doesn't seem to have new miniature icons. So any other miniatures in 7th year presents are probably already existing ones.

Someone tried to edit the wiki to add a few miniatures, like the asian ones, but others removed them.

My guess is that any uncommon, rare and unique miniature from previous birthdays and and miniature that can't be obtained in-game anymore has a chance to drop from these presents.

But then, if you got a panda or a Kanaxai in the 7th birthday, would you announce it so its price drops slightly as their numbers would no longer be limited, or be greedy, keep it to yourself, prevent at all costs this from being know and pretend to sell it with its usual price?
